2009 AMEM Fall Conference Information
Free Courses
The following NIMS/NFA Incident
Command System classes will be hosted by St Croix EMS & Rescue at the Hudson
Public Safety Training room (map
it here). Pre-registration is required. Both courses are grant funded for
the first 20 students registered. This course will be facilitated by the
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College the cost is free to the first 20
students.
ICS-300: Intermediate ICS
April 13, 14, and 15 from 9am to 5pm
This 20-hour course provides
training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of
the Incident Command System (ICS). The target audience for this course is
for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or
Type 3 incidents. Prerequisites: ICS-100 and ICS-200. (100 and 200 available
on line at NIMS)

ICS-400: Advanced ICS
May 25 and 26 from 9am to 5pm
This 14-hour course provides
training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of
the Incident Command System (ICS). The target audience for this course is
senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an
Area Command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. Pre-requisite ICS-100, 200,
and 300.
